Life is definitely interesting, whether you are a missionary on deputation or you have been working the same job for 20 years. Wednesday night we had a wonderful meeting at Faith Bible Church in San Antonio, TX. After we arrived home, I took Chloe out of the car, took her in and let Katie put her to bed.
I guess in all the commotion I forgot to lock the car. Some time during the night someone came into the neighborhood and broke into three cars. Ours happened to be one of them. They decided they were going to take a road trip, so they took our GPS. They figured they would be traveling during the day, so they took my wife’s sunglasses and I think they were planning on taking a long trip, because they also took my phone charger.
I thank God that He always provides and he can always bring glory to His name through any situation. I’m glad all they took was just “stuff”. My wife and my daughter are safe, we still have a vehicle to drive and God is continually blessing us. Thanks for praying for us while we are on the road.
